I´m earning a living busking on Barcelona streets now, and usually include Bullet though no-one has ever stopped for it (but sometimes I get halfsmiles), I was in the middle of the first chorus yesterday afternoon on the Ramblas and a French guy came up and said Thanks man. Boy do I feel validated in my faith in that song.

Well I hoped he tipped you handsomely too Owen. I'd also be very pleased to hear Bullet being played.
Why do buskers always play Simon and Garfunkel or Eric Clapton songs?

Incidentally, I thought at first this thread was going to be about recognizing different types of bullets, and I was going to make a joke about the song. Then I found out it actually WAS about the song. Well, that's that joke down the drain.

We had the coolest busker in birmingham a few years ago, he played radiohead songs, and only radiohead songs, he asked me to request one so I thought I'd be tricksy and pick a track only on japanese import pablo honey but lo he played it and impressed were my brother and I. I gave him a whole pound!

Just finished another hour-and-a-half on Calle Bocateria and more people stopped and tipped for Bullet and said Merci beaucoup - I think August is France´s turn to overrun the town (the US has June and July).
P.S. Tip: If ever strapped for means in Europe, learn Losing My Religion and play it for fifteen minutes at a time. They go ape for it here.

So yesterday tried a new place but not many people stopped, even if the neighbours watching from their balconies were great, so decided to have fun with it and did Superabound, Farewell Bend, Jetblack River and Bad Wicked World. The last one was enormous fun.
