There is some sort of offer where you can get a free iPod if you do a low-cost or free offer and get 5 other people to do it. The things you need to do range from signing up for eBay and putting in one bid on anything (even if you lose, which is pretty easy to do, like bidding 10 cents on a computer) up to ordering pet supplies from an online pet supply store (which is what I did since I needed them anyway). I'm hoping to get one of these suckers so I can finally join iTunes and get Bam Thwok.
If anyone is interested in trying to get in on this, the link to my referral is <LINK REMOVED>
and I still need a few referrals to finish up my invites. If anyone signs up with my referral I'll send them a couple of DVDs. I'll make them interesting choices.
I don't know for sure if it's legit but people swear they're getting their iPods.
(If this isn't a cool thing to post here, I'll understand, although I think there's no real harm in trying: I've gotten free stuff from referral programs like this before. Thanks!) |

Uh, you don't have to have an iPod to get Bam Thwok.
Download iTunes for free and you can buy the song for like... a dollar?

True, but I have no computer speakers and what I crave is music for my hour-long subway commute each way every day. |

Sounds like a scam to me.
I do want an iPod, but I'm not going to get it that way.
And I can't use iTunes on my computer.

This scam sounds familiar...I remember reading about it a while ago, but can't remember what I read. Definitely a scam.
I guess I just wasn't made for these times. |

Yeah, without wishing to be such a cynic, it does sound dodgy.

Definitely agree with that. But, like I said, it's pretty much no risk and worth a shot. People I know have gotten their iPod (not that that means anything to you.) I've put together a page with more info on this offer and the one for a free flat screen TV or computer monitor. In case you're interested you can find it here: <LINK REMOVED> |

Right then! So, "pretty much no risk" is like no risk at all, but some risk on top of that. Great. Where do I pretty much (not) sign up?

I feel it's no risk but I don't run the company that does it so I don't feel comfortable giving a guarantee that I can't personally back up. That's just how I am. Plus I figure we're all adults (maybe) and can read the rest of the information provided by the free iPod people for ourselves and decide if we wanna do it or not. |

So it's legitimate in that you might actually get a free iPod, but you have to give them personal information and do solicitation? No, thanks!

As seen on NBC, CNN, and many other sources, the Gratis Company makes free iPods, free Xbox 360s, free psps and many other items possible.
Go to this site for all the proof you need to determine that this is legit.
Check out
http://thegratisguide.blogspot.com
to get one for a free. I know it's extremely hard to believe this but this is true. You can watch NBC,CNN, and G4TV interviews with this company. You can also check out articles from wired.com, Washington Post, New York Sun and many more. Links to articles and videos are on the website. It'll take just 2 minutes to prove to you that this is legit, and 1000's of people have received their free stuff.

Sorry, this falls under the 'not cool to post here' heading, nothing personal but I don't like to drum up people for mlm type schemes...
