There's no spyware in Soulseek and the point of lossy compression is acceptable/largely undetectable drop in quality in exchange for small file sizes. Not because people are uninformed, but because not everyone wants to download 50 meg tracks for a difference that is mostly academic and hand-waving, and perhaps only a little perceptible at best.

aw whatever, I was just being (what I thought was) humourously anal. I don't think of mp3 compression as being undetectable to the naked ear, though...I had an mp3'd version of SSMVGD for years, and I noticed a HUGE difference when I finally got a lossless version.

Thanks for the input guys, but it doesn't really help me, as I use an Apple Mac, so if anyone can help me out with cdr copies of
Saskatoon and both Vancouver shows that would be great
