HEy everybody!
I know it has been forever and a couple of minutes since I last posted. I have been telling myself to go to FB.net but I guess I have had other things happening that just had to come first. Ok, I know that you, yes you the reader, is like get to the fucking point already, toti!
Fine, here I go. I just saw a movie titled "Singles", 1992 - kind of like a dating movie within the Seattle music scene. Dig for Fire was playing when some single chick went into a business to get a video of her made to advertise herself to a dating service.
Soo- to the FB Quiz Mistress, I declare the later information as lost, but now found, information for our ever growing directory of information that people interested enough to look, can have it because you, Sarah, are cool enough to gather all of this information together and organize it then give it to the likes of our great Canadian Frank Black fans and webmasters and producers to place on the FB experience...I hope.<-there is a period to end this...stuff... Where is all of that information located, anywaysquestionmark --- !!!!!!!!!<-onomatopoeia 200 posts

Hey mister, how you doing? I actually saw Singles in 1992 but now have no memory of it beyond the phrase "Come to Debbie Country," so I'll have to take your word for it. I know there have been endless threads on the use of FB/Pixies songs in movies/TV shows etcs. but nothing in the FAQ yet. I'll have to do a little digging in the archives but I'll get it up there eventually. |

Totipotent,
I ended up watching Singles four nights in a row on HBO--well, it was on while I was working on other stuff, boarding, etc. I think I mainly did it to hear "Dig For Fire" and "Dyslexic Heart".
I would have to say the MOST EXCELLENT use of a Pixies song in a movie ever was the end of Fight Club, "Where is my mind?"
