Traveled from Omaha, NE to Amsterdam to see the Pixies play there - and to enjoy the wonderful city, of course!
Unfortunately we didn't get very good pictures of the show, but loved it, AND saw Kim Deal at the Rijksmuseum the day before.
All in all a great holiday!

wow! you saw Kim there?
I was hoping to see them when I was walking through Amsterdam myself that day
I did, however, see two famous dutch comedians, not at the same time though.

Yes, it took me a little while to figure out for sure that it was her, as it's been quite a long time and I hadn't seen any recent pictures of her. But, her eyes are what gave her away. She was listening to the headset tour while she was walking through, so I didn't want to be obnoxious by interrupting her and bugging her for a photo - even though I would have died to be able to bring home a shot of myself with Kim Deal at the Rijksmuseum - WOW - what a souvenier that would have been. Of course, being from the netherlands, I doubt that would be quite as novel for you as it would me, ha ha...
I don't know that I am familiar with any of your Dutch comedians, however, because the only comedy act I've ever seen in Amsterdam was Boom Chicago, and I believe there were Americans performing at the show I saw. But hey, I would have been happy to have gotten in a photo with them, too, at the time HA HA... :) Sagacious |

well most of the dutch comedians are just plain bad, anyway
most of the american too, I think
And The Rijksmuseum? Don't know if I ever visited that one
Kim surely is a cultural being, there's that scene on the dvd
where's walking on some tour in a church in Italy
