still trying to persuade the wife into a day ticket, have reading the following week and think we are getting too old for 2 consecutive weekends, did it last year and it killed us.

I'm going to the Sunday at Chelmsford, bought the ticket before I managed to get a Brixton one, thinking it would be my only chance. Still, Pixies and the Strokes, plus a few other ok bands should be a good day out. If the summer actually starts by then....

well weston park is literally on our doorstep, but 50 quid for one band ? there is no denying that my wife doesnt love the pixies but it would be a day sat through shite before reading that we could do without. What will happen is that the weekend before v lisa will jump on me to track down tickets.

Domestiques, you have a cool missus. I want a tattoo like that on one buttock, the Pompey badge on the other. Will the wife let me? 3 guesses. And yes, I'm under the thumb.

Oh, and Psychogroupie - I was at the Saturday Brixton show. Unfortunately I stood in roughly the same spot I'd stood in when I went to the 1991 gig there, and it felt like 13 years had passed in roughly 13 days. Ho hum. Bloody good gig though....

Hi, i'm new here but maybe you guys can help me with three questions i have about the v festival. I'm planning to go to Weston, and does anyone have a clue about the exact timing of the line-up - and especially, about the length of the set the Pixies are supposed to play ?

Also, i've been seeing they invite people to bring valueless cameras there - does it mean they will confiscate proper ones, or is it just out of kind care for our precious belongings ;) ?

Thanks in advance :)

I think I may die that week! Doing V (for Pixies), followed by Kerrang awards (am hoping and praying that the Pixies go) then straight onto Leeds festival (can't remember why!) I may need a new liver after that.
