In an interview with Joey on JJJ radio here in Australia, there was an interview with Joey Santiago. In this interview he said they were considering a tour in Australia 
However at the end of the show, the radio guy said he would announce some Pixies news, that would make Pixies fans 'extremely happy'. He said it wasnt a tour announcment.
Could this be announcment of a new album?!
I really hope so!

| Mad Lucas, the rumour doing the rounds at the moment is that Pixies will be headlining the BDO with the Beastie Boys. If this is true then I hope they play some shows on their own as well, preferably with one here in Canberraalthough i would travel anywhere in Australia to see Frank. In fact, a road trip would definitely be on the cards. |

actually, the news is that JJJ are going to be broadcasting a Pixies concert on their Live at the Wireless segment.

| I heard some of the interview just before on JJJ. Joey says that so far the tour has been booked up until Xmas. It sounded like they might have something more up their sleeves for 2005, but then again, it might be all over for another 14 years... |

| Now finally having heard the interview, I think you may be drawing too much into it. All he said was he wanted to come To Australia, and was careful not to say what was happening after Christmas. |
