I've liked MM before

I muy, muy- tres, tres like the new Modest Moose Album, not a fan of anything else they've ever done though...
(yes, I refuse to refer to them as mouse, I call them Moose, not a typo... SAFO and LMB and GYF if you don't like it, have some motherfucking fudge and stick it up in your mouth!)

stop calling them modest moose! i get enough of that from people when i'm wearing my modest mouse t-shirt!
it is a fantastic album though. can't get enough of it. shame they were supporting bright eyes, they blew bright eyes off the stage...
And it's hard to be a human being, and it's harder as anything else, and I'm lonesome when you're around, and I'm never lonesome when I'm by myself, and I miss you when you're around. |

I haven't had much interest in the new Modest Mouse record. I listened to some clips from it, but I dunno, just not particularly taken with their music, though I do think they have some brilliant songs. Teeth Like Gods Shoeshine, Gravity Rides Everything, that one that goes PING PONG, Mice Eat Cheese, Polar Opposites, Heart Cooks Brain, cover of Sleepwalking, Alone Down There,... there's some good Modest Mouse.

as i've said before, i didn't really care for Modest Mouse but can't deny that this is a pretty great album. the first 4 songs in a row are stellar. and the rest of the album has some more gems. worth checking out.
