I am missing Dr. Demento right now. The king of My Balogna and Pencil Neck Geeks. *SIGH* Those were some good times.

You know he's still goin, right? Not sure where you are, but if he isn't on there, I think there's a streaming show on his website.

We listen whenever we remember to go grab the radio. Last time was a couple weeks ago, but I was irritated cause the new stuff getting made just blows. We were thinking it might be due to the popularity of "Yoda" - now everyone thinks it's funny enough if they just put new words about a movie into a popular song.

When they see us coming, the birdies all try an' hide,
But they still go for peanuts when coated with cyanide.
The sun's shining bright,
Ev'rything seems all right,
When we're poisoning pigeons in the park.

http://www.drdemento.com/

Apparently we Columbus folks just missed the good doctor at a convention called MARCON in May. Shit - oh well. Looks like he's an annual staple, although the downside is having to endure convention attendees. (Marking calendar...)

Also, due to some unknown funkiness the Dr. Demento site does not carry the stations list. But someone else has determined this is needed.

And on the Net:
