Man, it's just like the intro to the Beck song from Mellow Gold outside my apartment right now. For the last 20 minutes I've just heard random frustrated, pissed off profanity. "Get your ass back to work" "Pay the rent" "Every muthafuckin' thing else" "Whatever" "You're fuckin' lyin' to me" I just typed thing as I heard them. "Fuck you!" "Fuckin' liar!" "Burn a hole in my muthafuckin'..." "you come home, and this fuckin' house is clean!" "can't live like a fuckin'..." Ahhhhhh, living in apartments. How peaceful.

It may have been couch, but I'm not sure. I had the window closed, so I couldn't hear it all, but I could still hear that much. That's how loud and obnoxious they were.

The fights are pretty rough...
All that biting...then we make up, that's the fun part. Even better when someone else is there. To supervise of course.

That fight on Truckdrivin' Neighbors Downstairs ended with an arm being chopped off. Hopefully your neighbors will reach a better ending.
From beck.com:
The opening on Truckdrivin' Neighbors Downstairs is actually a fight Beck recorded between two "Truckdrivin' Neighbors" who lived downstairs from Beck. He was in the middle of recording the music for what would become "Truckdrivin'", but the neighbors brutal ax battle that left one of them without an arm (no joke) was too loud for Beck, so he left the room while the 4-track continued to record. When Beck returned he discovered the whole fight on his 4-track and included a piece of it for the song. |
