Is is just me or is "Preacher's Daughter" from the exclusive iTunes EP (wink, wink) a really, really great song? Classic FB & The C's, as far as I'm concerned. Thoughts?

IMO Preacher is one the best songs Frank has ever written.
As I said before, Frank must be a lil' crazy to release such great songs as b-sides or exclusives...

Preacher's Daughter sounds like an ode to Dylan, in particular to "girl from the north country". dylan and frank, that's all one needs.

I love it. It's one of my favorite FB&TC's songs. Ever.

Well, I'm glad we're all in agreement here.
I have to admit that the first couple of times I heard the song, my imagination had the girl's "four feet of hair" growing *up* like marge simpson's - not down like crystal gayle's. I really don't know what that was all about.

I like it but Don't Clip Your Wings is the real beauty of this EP. |

Maybe the 'four feet of hair' was sprouting from her nostrils. Personally, I feel that with the possible exception of 'dab', any of the tracks from the i-tunes EP would have been a better option for the last album over line-dancing anthem, Goodbye Lorraine. Am I alone on this?
