with this 60+ date tour that by say... the philadelphia concert (that im going to) ... they will be completely burnt out? i mean im sure they will play the songs flawlessly by then, but knowing how touring has strained them in the past, its hard not to worry about it. I mean i know whatever happens ill enjoy the show to some extent, but i cant help but be jealous of the people who have already seen them when they were still nervous and fresh
i think this is a legitimate concert...cause it's been a hell of a long time since any of them has done a tour as long and as demanding as this one.
the major thing i think is lost on these mega-tours is intimacy and individualism at the gigs...it would be just a blur for them - must get boring......but i spose they could spend all their spare time counting the money they're making.... that might just provide the inspiration they need.
I wouldn't be too concerned. If you have a look at Frank's tour schedule with his Catholics last year, he played around 60 shows in Europe alone in a span of two and a half months. And having seen him twice towards the end of that trip (Düsseldorf and Bielefeld), he seemed not a bit exhausted, the shows have been brilliant and energetic as you can imagine.
