best thing to do is go online and tell complete strangers about it, it's like direct marketing. be sure to tell everyone the name of the book though.

I'm looking for the same info, for my cousin. The best I have come up with so far is referencing the Writer's Market manual (available on amazon.com). Or online/self-publishing.
I've noticed that the industry is so hard to get into, people aren't quick to divulge the secrets of how to get in. Or maybe I am mistaken. I hope so. |

i would sure buy a book named "man of steel" but i am biased. i would love to have a copy though.

In the promoting process, you can have the name be something that will catch their eye. How's about: Night of the Fourteen-Inch, 200-Horsepower Vibrator (And the Morning After): The Shame of Rumpled Foreskin.
