I've got some stuff, but nothing I'd call a collection. I've got some signed Doolittle postcards and a few posters, all the vinyl records and nearly all the EPs. That's about it.

I remember this topic on bailey's walk, you were the guy with everything weren't you Lard? Except the DTTP candle???

If have everthing on LP except COP. Own the Gigantic 12" and all the 7"s except Alec Eiffel, which I would really like to get a hold of. If anyone has a copy of it any would like to sell/trade please let me know. I am only interested in the 7" singles since I have the cd singles, the 12" versions just don't do it for me. Also have the Bossanova lapel pin, DFF promo, DTTP euro box set, Death to the Pixies(original live show, not best of live show)Souls on Fire and Pixies Live on LP.

I've got all of their studio albums, most of their cd singles, the new DVD, Gigantic 12" vinyl, DTTP lp box set, Coachella Disclive, numerous decade-old concerts on cassette (including one that I recorded in Royal Oak, Michigan back in 1991) several of which I've never seen circulated (hope to digitize them and put them up on STG in the near future), the Brixton 1991 video, numerous European TV appearances, Jaap Edenhal video, the litho from the Chicago Metro show, as well as plenty of posters that I've never seen anywhere else, including an orange Brixton gig poster from the 1991 stop. I also have a collection great memories of the four Pixies concerts that I've attended: Latin Quarter, Detroit MI (1990), Royal Oak Music Theater, Royal Oak, MI (1991), Glass House, Pomona, CA, and Coachella Festival.

the quality on the BF Borderline gig is terrible quite honestly. the gig at the Point is ok, not brilliant - just OK.. one of my favourite moments comes from this gig as posted here
http://forum.frankblack.net/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=6071&whichpage=3
frank seemed rather excited at the gig and seemed to talk more than usual. my brother went to the show and he said they opened with Rock Music as was usual at the time but Mr Bootleg must have been late cos it ain't on it...

Let's see...

All of the studio albums on CD (including the BBC and the 2 CD Death to the Pixies).

As for singles, I've got Gigantic, here Comes Your Man, Monkey Gone to Heaven, Debaser (Studio and Live), Velouria, Dig For Fire, Alec Eiffel, and Head On.

A promotional CD containing River Euphrates, Wave of Mutiltion, Velouria and Planet of Sound (in a little paper sleeve).

As for tributes, there's Where Is My Mind and Pixies F***in' Die.

Original bootlegs are All Over the World, Situation Red and Victoria, BC.

Bootleg CD-Rs are Return of the Fat Man, Give Me Ecstasy (29 tracks), Subbacultcha, Here We Come, The Fallout Shelter, Live in Vienna, Jaap Edenhall, Gone to Heaven, Utrecht and B-Side File 3rd Edition, all of the Disclive recordings of the North American tour, Oakland 1992, Reading Festival 1990, Transatlantic, San Francisco (Warfield), The Ritz 1991, Minneapolis 1988, Brixton Academy 1991, Paris (June 7, 2004), Bradford England 1990, and Seattle 1991.

Videos: Brixton Academy 1991, Town and Country Club 1988, Ritz 1991, Miami 1991, Vancouver WA 1991, Vancouver BC 1992 (the 2 "final" shows), Amsterdam 1991, Black Francis solo in Rotterdam 1991, a compilation of European TV appearances, concerts and stuff, a tape labelled "Live/Miscellanous" that I belive has all of the Pixies videos, "Un Chien Andalou" by Salvador Dali, an interview with Frank Black, a video of Frank driving around while "Los Angeles" plays, and some other stuff that I can't remember. (And the breeders 12/93 in New York City and The Amps 3/97 in New Orleans).

Apart from that, I've got what I believe is a Brazilian Pixies fan club newsletter, ticket stubs from the Victoria BC show, tickets for Hull this fall, and Black Francis' guitar pick from Victoria (my sister got Joey's Perrier bottle that he was drinking from and that he used to play his amazing Vamos solo [and later used again during Into The White]).

Oh, and a few 12"x12" promotional posters for Doolittle, Trompe Le Monde and Bossanova, and full size posters for Teenager of the Year, The Cult of Ray and Bossanova.

I think that's about it.

ok, so i'm sad in yr opinion. but i enjoy collecting this stuff, as well as other vinyl. It all looks (and sounds) nice. Hearing albums on vinyl is sooo much better then on CD anyway, thats what started me off.

There is nothing wrong with collecting... It's fun to find something which is rare (at least YOU know its rare ;)

I don't collect Pixies, but I do collect Throwing Muses as well as 50 Foot Wave (of which I have quite a few already considering they only released one mini-album...)

My Throwing Muses collection is rather small actually but with some goodies though.

I really don't see why collecting is sad. I enjoy the music, but I happen to enjoy having different versions of the same record as well... Especially when it has a "For Promotional Use Only - Not For Sale" line on it :)

GLORY WEED - all about 50 Foot Wave
