I did, and of course paul martin never really answered anything, attempted to respond with questions of his own and never really got any points through, Jack Layton never stopped talking which i found amusing because he was focusing his frustrations on Paul martin, and at the very least he was alive out their but never really alowed for any responses to his questions. I know how im voting but i knew before watching the debate. |

Yeah, I watched it. They all seemed pretty good at ducking questions or answering via a history lesson.

what a decision huh? if these turd munchers could have concentrated on the point at hand and not went looking for a winning blow then it would have been half assed enjoyable.

Yes you did, TarTar, admit it.
I agree with you Mr. Guy. Direct answers were in short supply and it was more about posturing to control the agenda than actually debating. There were several times I just thought to myself, "What does that have to do with what we're talking about right now?!".
As well as: "Just answer the damned question." "Shut-up for five seconds." "Why the hell is Duceppe in on this debate and wasting my time?"

Mr. Guy, HA!
Funny, Dean.

I live to give, Em. Live to give. :)
Yeah, I'm more undecided than ever! Am I the only one turned off by them looking at the camera instead of the person they're supposedly talking too? I don't like the Stephen Harper's military agenda, I don't like Paul Martin's pocket-lining agenda, I don't like Jack Layton's eternal deficit agenda, and I just plain don't like Gillis Duceppe.
And both Martin and Harper seem determined to bend over for Bush even if Martin claims to have been against Iraq participation. Can we have our own opinion up here? I don't think worrying about whether it'll hurt relations/trade is a good reason for following in a disastrous wake.

I really find it kinda weird that the media downplays Jack Layton's contribution to the debate....weirder still is that despite the fact that Layton and the NDP really do represent the 'values' Canadians take pride in (Health Care, Social Programs, and Equality), they wont get the votes. It sucks that people feel they have to vote 'strategically' to avoid voting for Harper....but it does point to the fact that proportional representation needs to be considered: as it is, my vote for the NDP will not count for shit because I live in a BLOC stronghold. Ask why the youth is not voting, cuz their votes often count for shit!

i thought the debate was very entertaining. i loved the cheap background. jack layton is one strange feller. whats with the funny grin and all the crayz hand gestures. stephen harper i believe to be a closet homosexual. i got a liberal heart so i was hoping paul martin would articulate himself a little better than he has so far in this campaing. i thought he held up quite well. and yes i know the liberals are lame. but the conservatives? that party scares me. by the way who the hell was that other guy! i still believe that not allowing the green party to be part of the telivised debate was a little more than fascist. |

I'd far sooner see the green party in there than some one-issue one-province party, that's for sure. I don't think Bloc should be in the debates unless they represent Canada and not just one province with a secessionistic agenda.

Aye, it's ridiculous that a one-province party is in there, where the Greens have candidates in 308 ridings nationally. (308, right?)
I'm *really* disappointed that CBC didn't stand up against the other major TV co's and demand the Greens have a presence. Last time we had five representatives, why four this time??
Sheesh..
I'm not happy with the Greens, but i'll say i like them more than any other party.
