Has anybody heard Bad Plus One's version of "Velouria"?
They're a jazz trio, I guess, and I just happened to see the title of the song listed on the website, and I ordered it as one of my freebees from BMG. They did a couple other covers to, like "Iron Man" by Black Sabbath. Kind of funny.
1. I am a fsh with no i's. 2. You must be wearing Zubaz, 'cause you're daring to be different. 3. I am a man with 3 fingers...but that doesn't count my index finger nor my thumb. |

Actually, their name is The Bad Plus. My roommate picked up another CD of theirs last year with a good cover of Smells Like Teen Spirit and a great cover of Aphex Twin's Flem (or is it Flim?). Anyway, my brother met these guys recently at a local music festival. He said they performed Velouria and it was pretty cool. I still haven't heard it.

Yea i also like that cover, the piano is very nice and the messed up drumming in the back ground gets better and makes more sense the more u listen to that song |

Ah. Velouria. Brings back so many memories, I can't even recount them all. But that song can be directly attributed to my deep desire to own a trampoline. And, I suspect that one day I will.

A lemur.... hmmm. Had not thought of that. Perhaps this is an idea that needs further investigation.

Awww... see now. The whole idea of a guitar playing lemur is just wholly appealing in so many ways. Maybe if I had one, then and only *THEN* could I say my life was complete.
