I just downloaded the bridge version of Subbaculcha from the FTP and basically it is beautiful. I think the bit that was left out for TLM was made into D=RT but for me, D=RT is the weakest song Pixies have ever done and Subbacultcha is only good when there is so much potential for it to be legendary. On the version I downloaded there is a lot more variation and dynamic to the song and the lyric "We're heavenly, aaaaah" (Is this correct?) is a real hook that stays in your head for ages.
Does anyone else feel the same way?
