1) A good name. A good topic often uses a pastiche of a famous song. It also uses powerful words or an unusual combination of words. Example: "Dating and farting - how soon is too soon?", "The sad graduate".
2) People should be able to write a lot about it. Most of people think that the subject has to be interesting - this is not true. Topics such as "Random post" or "Answer a question and ask another one" in fact don't have any subject at all. Of course, if the subject is interesting, it's better - but not necessary.
3) People should be able to talk (more or less directly) about themselves. This concerns their intrinsinc characteristics (personality, opinions, education, job) as well as their current activity (the book they are reading, the song they are listening to). This is because this forum is a REALITY SHOW.
4) The way the message is written is very important. Too much information should not be displayed. Maximum 5 paragraphs of less than 6 lines each (eventually, a PS might be tolerated). No links. Pictures are welcome but not necessary.
PS : These are the points I've found after a careful research. If you can think of more, feel free to post them.
I keep feeling like people are just looking at screens and web sites all the time, but do they ever do anything? Or go out and say anything to anyone? I'm not so sure anymore. |

Don't forget....The title must be capitalized and have three exlamation marks...Like so: JEANS!!!
Haha, I'm just messing with you HPM. Umm...if the topic is related to sex or drugs it usually gets pretty far...
