during vamos solo joey put his guitar back on its stand and just pointed at the axe as it wailed out feedback. just that thought and image in my head has got me tingling with excitement and anticipation. how fucking cool. who else could pull that move off without looking like an egotistical dick. only our joey...thats who.
does anyone else have a single split secong highlight that cements your love for the Ps? would love to hear.
just back from barcelona too ... was a superb festival and the pixies were soooo great ... was too caught up in the ecstatic mosh (and possibly a little too drunk) to recall the setlist but I don't think they played anything they hadn't already on this tour (no break my body, bah!) but any set focused around the first three albums is plenty fine by me
the crowd was amazing ... the main stage was huge (last year's main stage was the second stage) and absolutely packed, and the band seemed genuinely overwhelmed by the reaction
now four more nights of pixies in brixton to enjoy, yippee!
