I have discovered that the only way to soften one up is to use it. Based on my own experience, I can tell you that none of the "tricks" actually work

| None of tricks make it seem genuinely "used," but they sure help. My last new glove got the neatsfoot oil treatment and I wrapped it tightly with a ball inside when not in use. It sped up the break-in process immensely. |

I did the running over it thing, worked pretty well! I have a sweet Mizuno glove, it fits me like a...uh, well.....a glove.
Do dyslexic-insomniac-agnostics stay up all night wondering if there really is a dog? |
