What hair are you wearing right now?

What are your plans for tonight (or if you're in a different time zone, today?) |

my plans for tonight involved being asleep, oh, two hours ago, it's 00:30 and I have to be at work tomorrow
()
Why on some nights is it just impossible to sleep
I don't mean to sound bitter, cold, or cruel, but I am, so that's how it comes out.

It's the price we have to pay for being a rational animal.
Why can doves be a peace symbol if my doves are always eating each other?

Doves aren´t a symbol for peace. They represent Babylonian queen Semiramis/Isis for those still getting their kicks from bloodcultism.

Doves are peace symbols because they eat each other rather than eating other birds and shit. See? Peace, yeah?
Is it an atrocity when one dove eats another dove?

It is, if they do it with evil intentions.
Have you ever had a wet dream with someone you bloody hate?

yes I have. They are usually more intense (I am assuming the woman version of a wet dream is still called a wet dream here)
have you ever had an unexplainable crush on someone really horrible?

When was the last time you had deja vu? Please describe what it was about (what was happening, etc.), and also how it made you feel, if you don't mind. |

hmmmm deja vu.. ok... sorta....
I was in sheffield with my soon to be housemate, we had been checking out houses and flats for a day and a half and had little luck (located in scumfuck central or damp and rotting) we found a flat on the internet and while I was in the shower kath called on the off chance we could get a viewing, it sounded good, we had a viewing for 5pm had some time to kill, went to buy some lunch and get a jar or two in. We were in a pub (I had chilli) and she's going on about how she has this good feeling about the flat, I felt nothing but tired. I light up a smoke and look round the pub, and get a flash of a lilac room, it was weird. 4.45pm we hop in a joey to the flat (just out of sheffield.. literally 5 mins on a bus) and get shown round, it was perfect, huge hallway, up the stairs to the main floor, stunning living room, coffee coloured walls, darkwood floor and chunky wooden fireplace, huge kitchen, bathroom and seperate pixies room (all classic white, minimilistic with a power shower) huge bedroom (wine red carpets throughout the hall) I'd fallen in love with it by now, it was spacey, big victorian windows and relatively cheap, time for the second floor and the third bedroom, going up the stairs I get the weirdest feeling, nice spiral staircase, opening up into a lilac attic room which was huge, actually two rooms, a spacey bedroom and a study, I look at kath and she says we hav to take it, we get the keys tuesday, I move in three weeks, the attic room is mine.
We were the first people to see the flat, I swaer if anyone saw it before us it would be gone.
Do you ever feel the need to re-invent yourelf?

Never feel the need to reinvent myself, although sometimes I want to do that.
Will you kiss me on the cheek and give me a hug?For I am sad and in need of human love, not hate, not bigotry, not assholes, not ignorance, none of that fucking bullshit.

My question is this.
If there's a fire burning inside of a person what is the best way to let it out?

Maybe a pressure valve. I've got several lengths of tubing and a soldering iron I could sell for cheap.
Or there's always trepanation.
Personally, I just try to be creative. It's really hard to drill a hole into your own head. Sure, that guy from "Pi" did it, but he was a genius.
What does your name mean? First, last, and/or middle? or (if you'd rather not divulge) Do you know about any of your ancestors beyond great-grandparents? Please tell a bit about one of them.

My name is Emily Rainbow (really) - my parents weren't totally hippies but they always liked rainbows and my dad says that they thought my name "would look good on a marque". My last name is just a generic English name, I don't know what it means. Emily means "industrious one".
I don't really know much about my great great grandparents.
Where did your family come from?

answer: My family name is Pronk. Actually there is quite a lot written about this family name. Most of the Pronk`s come from Scheveningen, which is the most famous sea resort next to The Hague. However my family come from another Pronk branch from the North of Netherlands (Groningen). That side of the family is a real seafarers family. They worked on Coaster ships to England, Scandanavia etc. My wife`s family comes from Vietnam. the family name is Khoa and almost the entire family lives in Hai Phong (the harbour city in North Vietnam). Most of the family members even live in the same neighborhood, only a few live in Hanoi, Sydney and now 1 in Amsterdam.
Question: How many people live in Vietnam? (no internet search allowed) |

I can (barely) play guitar, drums and percussions. I'd like to sing.
If you could live again after your death, would you come back as a man or a woman?

I think we may have done that Way Back When, but I will pick a cat. Lay around all day. It's a good life.
What will you eat for your next meal?

It'll be the usual breakfast of coffee, orange juice and two slices of toast and marmite.
What would be your last meal?

Definitely. I have to sleep 8 hours at night to feel good. That's quite a problem actually, I wish I could stay up later at night and read or watch TV or whatever, but I need my 8 hours of sleep.
Did you watch the Olympics for the sport or for the athletes' muscles/sexy outfit?

(and last_splash, I'm sure you watched the field hockey for the players and not for the game... It has to be the most boring team sport I've ever seen, and I only saw 30 seconds of it. Good thing we don't have a team here)

Last Splash I must congratulate your Australian team to beat the Dutch men (my country)in the men`s field hockey final in Athens. They deserved the victory having had more chances and more corners. By the way they looked quite macho with their very short sleeves-shirts.
To answer your question: if I could do anything right now what would it be? It would be nice right now to be within one minute in Australia and look around there without having to take an airplane etc. I also would like to visit the Vietnamese community in Sydney as well over there. In Vietnamese they call it Xit-Ni.
By the way my question was still unanswered and my question came earlier than Black Francis question. (see post-time)
So I will do the same question again: How many people live in Vietnam currently? (no internet search allowed, so try to estimate it) |
