Oh, whoops. Sorry, fudd!
Well, I am no one to give advice about that (notice immense posting number!) but I would say if you limit your addiction to one or two visits a day, that would be okay. Give yourself a time limit and then sign off. I will be adhering to that starting next week when I begin my new job! Woo!
My Q: If your house were on fire, what thing would you save? ((and let's assume all your people and animals are safe)

Is that your question?
I got an admin job. I will be supporting a dude at a pharmecutical company in Cambridge. It pays well (more than I made at my last job, which is GREAT). I can't wait to have money to shop and go out again, let alone pay bills. My birthday is in about a month and a half, and it was my goal to be working FULL TIME before then. So, yay!
So, another Q: If you had to play one record every day for a month, what would you play?

Pixies Surfer Rosa, or Throwing Muses The Real Ramona, or Violent Femmes debut.
What would be your LAST choice for music you had to listen to for a month? (Yeah, I know, it's a cheap way to make up a new q. I am trying to limit my time on the message board, though.)
p.s. Make it one side of a record, and I would say side 1 of the B52's debut. In fact I DID play that every day for a month when it came out. For you younger folks, that means Planet Claire, 52 Girls, Dance This Mess Around, and Rock Lobster. An incredible 20 minutes of rock and roll.

I'm the same way. The only odd number I can tolerate is 5. Multiples of 5 are just fine.

You know I really like this tpoic (as I previously mentioned) but I just had a thought. It may be starting to use up potential topics for this forum. Some of these questions would have been interesting to see discussed by everyone.
Just a thought.

Yes. (Did you want more info than that?)
Do you believe in ghosts, or have you ever experienced anything that seemed "paranormal"?

Well, it's not like there is a word quota or something - anyone can make a topic about this stuff. Just b/c we stay it here doesn't mean it can't be posted somewhere else, right?

Yeah that did cross my mind, but I would feel like a thief if I stole someone else's thoughts. I like to come up with topics myself.

I was born in Winchester, Hampshire, England. I was there last at Easter, because my folks still live there. So therefore, I do want to go back someday, probably Monday. Its Bank Holiday!
I saw Hope Of The States tonight and they were ace. What was the last properly awesome band you saw live (eluding FB/Pixies/Breeders et al).

I just gotta answer this even though it's already been answered. 50 Foot Wave. Do not miss. I saw them in NYC and was so impressed I had to go see them again two nights later in Hoboken. Kristin and co. are playing kickass ear-splitting hard rock. |

I think vampires. Cause they are sexy and they dress so sharp! Although I guess the sun might be an issue...

Yes. Edward Gorey books and artwork. Really funny and dark humor, lovely drawings. Eccentric irascible, all around neat guy...
Have you ever played a prank or had one pulled on you or someone you know? If so, what are the details of one of your favorites?

I have a good prank story....
My freshman year in college my RA basically threatened my whole floor the first day, and said he wouldn't tolerate anything. so....
we gathered up all the phone books we were given as freshman, from the whole floor, and then put various other items in front of his door, such as trash cans, chairs, and small couches, and duck taped everything together so he couldn't even open his door.
Well, when he got up to go to class the next day, needless to say he was a little late, as he had to wait a few hours for someone to clear everything out.. (nearly 10 of us secured him in beyond belief).
The RA was obviously pissed, but I think he got the message..
??? What is your favorite food. Not type, but actual meal? |

Right now it seems like the worst thing I can think of is breaking up with the ex...beneficial...I'm not 100% about that just yet because I am so fucking lost with my life right now (I have no idea what the hell I'm doing, where the hell I'm going, and I haven't been this unhappy for this long of a period since well...I don't know). But I think if I had continued on with her, I'd be further and further away from any sort of goals I was going after in life...so, perhaps in a year, I'll be able to say it was beneficial cause most likely, a year from now, whatever I'm doing, I probably wouldn't have been doing it had I stayed with her.
