If you're talking mythological creatures, the phoenix is better, but out of those a unicorn- its just so elegant and ace.
Have you ever been backstage at a gig? What was it like?

I always had aftershow passes somehow when I was about 17 but I very rarely used them, It was very much like waynes world, a room with a bar where everyone with aftershow passes hovers, waits for the band to swan through, and they don't always, everyone coo's over the band, the band go. Very boring, band don't often stick around long either, if you really wanted to meet/talk to them hover by the coach at the end. Bonus though, the bar is always open later tham the bar inside the gig!
How often do you go to gigs?

It varies. I tend to go either if there's someone really good playing, or if I can get in for free.
Do you prefer Pina Collada's, or walks in the rain?

Your answer doesn't really make sense, but hey. I'd love to be able to wear pants out.

(There was a headline in the paper recently about new solar flares that will reach Earth carrying the force of a billion H-bombs, or something like that. What will happen? It'll knock out a few satellite dishes. Hows that for selling a story?)

i broke my nose in high school playing water polo. i had to have my septum re-alligned and undergo full-anesthetic style surgery. as an added bonus, during surgery, the anesthesiologist (or someone) apparantly scratched my eye with some kind of foreign object. so when i came out of unconsciousness, not only was my nose in pain, but my eye was in even more pain. i was like "what the fuck?".. i left there with a gigantic swolen face and an eyepatch.
but i got some nice pain killers.

(Thanks, apl. I have had surgery twice to straighten my septum, improve airflow, and eliminate/reduce chronic sinusitis. My ENT/surgeon doesn't know I box with my kids and I am currently hoping the discomfort goes away so I don't have to go tell her.) |

No I haven't had that recently. I don't mind that pain. The day after sucks. It feels like you got punched in the arm with a wrench or something, and then the next day your whole arm hurts and you can't remember why, and then you like, oh yeah, must have been theat wicked strong needle.
Marilyn Manson/Brian or George Bush?

indeed it is. however, rock has been corporate since the late 50s with package tours and radio station shows, so rock's natural evolution is quite a corporate one.
