(Bob - My hypothetical paedophile who I have used in many an argument down the pub. I use bob because it's good to alter perceptions, and I like a bit of a drunken barney. Bob is sixty years of age and sexually atracted to children, though he also feels he should never act upon these feelings. Ever. He worked in a steel factory where he knew no one would take their kids. He avoided parks and playgrounds, he lives in a small remote cottage where he has no neighbours and no neighbourhood kids. He has no internet, no kiddy porn. He remained single, scared of the prospect of having children or grandchildren and never once acted innapropriately towards a child in his life. Yet he is turned on soley by kids. What do we think of bob?)

Yes, I would. I'd say I have fairly high moral standards.

How many times do you let the phone ring before answering it?

Once. Sometimes I'll let it ring twice just to see if it's going to ring again. If I am sleeping, I wait until it stops ringing, then I get out of bed and check the caller ID.

When was the last time you were really dissappointed in another person?

(don't let me forget to ask; Do you get any satifsfaction when you get to the last bag iin a box of trash bags and putting the box into the bag?)

Actually, sad to admit, but right now I am currently so very disappointed in another person. Someone that I have known, trusted with everything, and called friend for the past 20 years of my life. Knifed me, right through the heart.

Pistachios, cashews, macademias, or the humble yet versatile peanut - which type of nut would you prefer on a regular basis?

Yes you are.

In a certain light, couldn't being homeless be exciting?

Maybe. Especially under a stadium strobe light, or even better, an alien ship tractor beam.

Part One: Do you have a college degree? What in? Has it gotten you a job in your field?

Part Two: Should I go back to school and finish the last semester of my 5-year Bachelor of Fine Arts degree (aka useless piece of paper)? Will it make me a better/happier/more needed person?

I have a degree(medicine) + post-graduate degree(anaesthesia) and with those papers I registered to do my job. Sometimes you have to have those papers.

Yeah, go finish your degree. It won't make you a better artist I guess but maybe one day you'll need those papers for something.

(My step-father is an anaesthesiologist, offerw. I wish I had gone to school for something useful. I almost went for a science-related field. But then, I wouldn't be quite where I am today, and I'm happy for the most part. I probably will go back and get the papers, just because it is a thorn in my side, and it would be a great way to get access to people and facilities that have been until now difficult to find.)

edit: oops -I had this window open for too long before responding. Now bits of it don't make much sense after your edit.

(my degree cost me a fortune and a relationship and I regret it not a bit. It changed me changed my perspective and I now know what I want to do with my life (It was biomolecular science btw) and if you have only one semester left after all that time, why the hell not.. it's not that much longer!)

I have never considered that.

How would you feel about dating someone who left their long-time partner heartbroken and ruined to be with you?

No. There must be only one ... me or me.

Being more than 30 years old, would you consider dating a 21 year old trainee at work ? Do you think love/sex can be involved with work relationships ?

Love hurts ... when there's no love anymore.
And it can make you bitter, above all when you don't understand why it's finished (as it is most of the times when you are dumped).
I felt like that a long time ago because I really was in love.
And I think I built myself a kind of armor, in order to avoid suffering and bitterness.

How often do you fall in love ?
