Is that your question, Em? OK, the answer is: mine.
Q: do you often relate what people say in a casual conversation to song lyrics, esp. FB's? Let's say, some people talk about lemurs and you immediately start singing Velouria in your head?

Someone still has to answer the birth question.
You know what's trippy. Other people watching you give birth. We had this new resident in tears. Plus having your hubby and your mom watching at the same time is strange.
Anyways... |

(Well, we're currently trying to have babies, and when it happens, I sure won't let my mother-in-law be there with me while my wife is giving birth. Not that I don't like her, she's a very nice person, but I'd prefer being alone. Anyway, she lives 10000 kms away from us, so it's not really an issue).

Yes, I saw my kids born. Both were C-section, so I was at the same time filled with awe and the heebie-jeebies. I remember watching a birth on PBS prior to this, and I said "I'm not sure I want to be in the room when this happens." My wife said "I'm not sure I want to be in the room!" |

The birth question was to catch up. The current one is about everyday things reminding you of lyrics. I drive my kids nuts. Just yesterday one of them said something about a social function including "stay all day." I am sure you know which song I immediately started singing. They say they have to make sure they never say anything from a Pixies song. Not that they don't love them, just not when I sing them.

Why, Thursday of course. Always on a Thursday.
What is the last thing you tried to eat but spit out? (mine was an egg custard at a sushi place. Thought it would be sweet. Salty. *shudder*)

Well, not sure, but I'll take your word for it. ;)
Have you ever purchased an e-book? If so, how did you feel reading a book that isn't a "book"? Did you miss the physicality of reading a book?
(I'm thinking of buying one for the first time: 'Metamath! The Quest for Omega' and I'm a little gun-shy)

No, I've never purchased an e-book, although I think I've looked at a few before. If I did, though, I think I would definitely miss the physicality (if that's a word <g>).
Okay, my question: Have you ever fallen asleep standing up?

don't think so. unless you count my gf talking to me whilst in bed and nodding off... or nodding off on the sofa in similar circumstances? anyway no, i did once fall asleep on a table in a club whilst chatting to 2 lovely young ladies who seemed very interested in me... but they had gone to get me a drink, then i fell asleep (apparently), and they came back to find me like that and sacked me off, guessing i wouldn't be much fun...
erm, question... is it cool to like aimee mann?

Get old. It doesn't make you sick to your stomach any more, but you still get the headache and ache-all-over feeling. At least in my experience.

last i saw: i saw tons of dead deer and various other wildlife when i was in North Dakota last week.
that i touched: i accidently ran over a gigantic squirrel about a year ago, and had to move that out of the road with my hands (it was still alive). that was a downer.

Oh, I like button fly. Contrary to popular belief, it doesn't take 10 minutes to button or unbutton.

At least half of the people in the world who have showers have done it, and if abnormal means a small percentages of shower takers, then I would have to answer "No" to this question.

Ooh, a good five minutes I should think. I dunno, it would b very very unlike me to not eat when it was time for food - maybe when I was sick last.

My friends would answer I'm messy ... I would agree cos I really hate doing the housework (but if I don't do it, noone does, dammit). The problem is that before I can vacuum-cleam my one-roomed flat, I have to take all the things that are the ground and put them somewhere else !!!
What's the weather like today where you live ? (here in Paris it's ok, sunny with clouds, 22°celsius - week end should be great)

Graduation ceremonies are traditional, I guess. I think it's more important for the parents than for the students. My parents went to my graduation. If you want to remember that day and not to get bored during it, maybe you can imagine to do a crazy or funny thing (a guy from my class went to take his diploma wearing a kilt - I'm sure you can do much better :)).
do you really think Sol Campbell can manage with Titi Henry tomorrow ?

Blatantly. He has practise every day in training every day in training, he should be able to cope. And if not, we'll get John Terry to hack his legs out!
Question is, will your crusty old men in defence be able to handle Roonaldo, Wayne Rooney?

Wait and see, as you guys say ! But I'm not sure Terry is gonna play ... isn't he injured ? As for our "crusty" defenders, well, Thuram and Sylvestre can make it. Too bad Marcel Desailly isn't in a good shape ... that man is a legend ... and I don't say that because he was formed in the club I support, the Footbal Club de Nantes Atlantique (so is Deschamps - allez les jaunes !).
Do you think we bore everybody with our football stuff ?

New theme then. Scissor Sisters: Good or no?

Well, I didn't know them 5 minutes ago ! I'v just listened to 2 or 3 tracks on internet, but, well, sounds pretty dance and disco ... not my style and their clothes are ... spectacular ! The Darkness make me laugh recently and their music are fun (nothing new but funny).
what are you listening to at the moment ?

I'm pretty sure I've only heard two new albums this year, but of the two, the new Magnetic Fields is the better one. I have a feeling the new TMBG album coming out next month will rank quite highly, though.
What album that will be released this year are you most looking forward to?
