Silver glitter.

How much do you hate Soren for seeing the Pixies in Dublin tomorrow?

Sorry Kathryn - beat you there.

I don't hate Soren much at all because I get to see them on Saturday night - and did I mention I have access all area passes?

What should I say to Frank if I meet him (stalk him successfully) backstage?

Or maybe not.

I chose going to the lake instead of the beach today but there was a drought so I spread my towel on the dry lake bed which was really hard and there was a constant noise of autumn leaves skittering along the ground. The dogs liked it, they got to urinate someplace new. So yes to answer the question.

What's your favourite song to sing?

Ask your friend over there if he's gonna buy the next round.

Is it OK if I blanket post yet more pix of a certain musician in the beautiful men thread?

The Addams Family were the originals, and more off the wall, so I'll go with them, although I used to love watching The Munsters after school in the evenings!

Tachylite lava disintegrates in sea water within 15,000 years but it is still found on the sea bed around the Azores - oceanographer Maurice Ewing wrote in the National Geographic of November 1949: "Either the land must have sunk two or three miles, or the sea must once have been two or three miles lower than now. Either conclusion is equally startling." (story is called ("New Discoveries On The Mid-Atlantic Ridge") People on the Canary Islands claimed heritage leading back to the place and when European explorers first showed up there the islanders were surprised that others had survived the cataclysm that destroyed their home.

What's your oddest belief?

LOVE the beach (loathe all men right about now especially the spineless ones and those with fuck all manners and who can't even manage the most basic of thank you's)

Where is your favourite beach?

I'm not sure I have a favourite, but the most amazing is probably Camps Bay, Cape Town. We visited there and there were clouds over the 12 Apostles (Huge rock outcrops on the side of Table Mountain), it was nothing short of spectacular. Honourable mentions to Blythedale KZN, Puttsborough in Devon, and Nice.

What do you tend to do at the beach? Are you a swimmer, a tanner, a player?
