I made a joke in the pub last week referring to the big boss as having somewhat vampiric tendencies and my line manager snorted lager through his nose. I laughed at that til it hurt.
We haven't had this for a while: what's the best new band you've come across recently?

Cheb Balowski, I saw the name on the schedule in an expo about Iraq in the modern art centre here and thought it was some anarchist writer but turned out to be a band who play well there“s a wrd here for bands who play Barcelonaish music basically throwing in lots of flamenco, bossanva, hiphop, jazz, punk, gypsy and polka, it“s called meztizo, and they“re one of those, plus they“ve got and Algerian singer who does that great N African vibrato thing with throat and a handsome singer/dancer too, mostly I just look at her at the concerts.
Any album making a big dusted off after ages comeback on your stereo?

Since I am playing in a cd swap, a bunch have surfaced. These are some bands I was unable to fit in: Yo la Tengo, Carlinos Brown, Tricky and Cibo Matto (one of best concerts I ever saw)
Good question. What about you?

This week I replaced Surfer Rosa which had been stolen by a sypsy on the south coast cause he liked Isla del Encanto, so that and David Byrne are getting daily treatment.

About 7 hours. Most of that is watching episodes of Takehsi's Castle before work. The rest is catching the Sky Sports News channel now and again or the music channels.
How much radio do you listen to a week?
Don't believe the type!

Homers, you are out of order tonight. You're not asking questions when you're supposed to; you're asking questions when you're supposed o be answering. Get it together.
May I do my imitation of you when speaking to me?

Scranton Pennsylvania. Went to go skiing at some local mountain, but the weather was awful. Spent the weekend walking around Scranton.

tomato and mozarrella salad, chewing gum and a pack of Marlboro lights (or Malibu lites as I prefer to call them, helps with the denial that I'm actually smoking again)
Padded bras by the way are wrong wrong wrong and as a very small breasted woman I feel I can say that with some level of authority
what was the last text/sms message you received?

I erase them as I read cause my cell phone can only hold 10. It was probably my sister asking if she could stay at my place.
[edit: damn Tre, you're fast.] The last sms I sent was probably answering to my sister that yes, she could stay.
They're planning to sell Justin Timberlake's vomit on eBay, would you buy some?

Yes - paid a fortune for something which never arrived - ebay could do nothing since it was a western union money transfer and the seller vanished. Not gone back since.
