A good friend of mine abuses the company mail system and posts me an amazing array of fabulous randomness and fun - I love Royal Mail - it really works. The weirdest thing I've ever seen received in the post was when my housemate received a whole shoe box filled with her nephew's smurf collection stolen by her grandmother.
And you? |

I've been putting together a cd collection for my younger brother of stuff that I know he loves and stuff from our childhood which I'm sending him as soon as I get myself near a post office.
Do you ever think that there are some questions in here that should be threads instead of just questions? |

Skyscape or seascape?

No and don't let anybody tell you otherwise! The vistas, the spa at the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Biltmore, the proximity to Santa Fe and Las Vegas, the ... better stop.

No but I was fortunate in that for a few years my job both entailed driving a lot and working with cops, so I have weaseled out of many a speeding ticket by buying drinks for my good friends in law enforcement (dont' tell Thomas!)

Maybe when the crack whore that lives in the flats opposite where I work started throwing ceramic flower pots at passers by, and swearing at them, the other day.
Any good crazy people stories?

I used to live next door to a woman caled Linda, Linda used to be a psychiatric nurse but fell for one of her patients (a drug addict also) she used to steal drugs for him, and in stealing she got herslef addicted, he OD'd she went nuts. It started one day with her screaming for four hours on and off, then she threw all of her clothes into our garden and roamed her garden naked for a while. The next week all her crockery came flying into our garden. The week after that a TV and video player flew over. The week afte that we had a flood of animal welfare people come round because she'd called them all and told them "we were fucking up the dog", the next week milk bottles came flying into the street through the downstairs window. Her poor elderly parents came round every time to apologise and clear up. She went quiet for a while. One night she flipped and at around 3am forced a two seater sofa out of her upper bedroom window, followed by an array of vases and nick nacks, followed by her naked self, screaming. She banged on our door and my poor startled mother opened the door to this naked bleeding mad woman who pushed her way into the house flingin her arms about and spraying blood all over the newly decorated hall way and stairs, my mother had to keep her out of our bedrooms by force.
Linda went away to a nice house for the crazies for a very long time. ever thought crazy would be kind of fun?

That is an amazing story!
But...I don't think crazy would be fun, except you could probably get away with a few things because of it. For instance when "John" at the residential care facility (which was actually just a large house) I used to work at broke every window in the place...all he had to do is explain that "god made me do it!" and that was that. Who could argue with him?
What is the craziest thing you have done lately? |

"Loaned" my friend £70, trust me thats crazy.
I used to work in an old folks home of a night and some of them were brilliantly amusing (even though they shouldn't be) This one woman had an en suite room but insisted on running into the hall screamin "I need a poo" in a welsh high pitched wail, she ran into the bathroom (literally room with bath) lifted up the lid to the clinical waste bin and shat all over the floor, as bad as it is I creased up and had to go find a quiet place to laugh away the tears.
This is why I should never go back to health care!
Do you ever question your sanity?

A John Mayer CD.
Do you think we'll ever be able to travel faster than the speed of light?
