I've never been to the opera, and I doubt I could sit through the entirety of this, but Wagner's 'Tristan Und Isolde'

There is none that I could not go without. I am The Anti-Metrosexual. But if I had to pick one, it would be toothpaste. edit: Who am I kidding? I can't live without toothpaste.
What model was your first car? (If you've never owned a car, a bicycle will do.)

To answer the questions that other people ignored, I rarely read the newspaper (although I probably should), and I sometimes work to music.
What's your favorite Cracker song?

Tough to choose, but I'll go with "Low" because it describes desperation so well ("The fruit is calling from the trees" etc.). And the guitars are spectacular.
When was the last time you felt desperation and why?

I was supposed to be having a barbeque but it's howling a gale and been postponed for tomorrow, so I'll probably stay home, play your Cracker/Camper Van Beethoven mix really loud drink some wine, smoke some weed and post a whole load of crap on here instead.
How often do you start replying to someone here and then halfway through totally chicken out and delete everything? |

I can think of no finer company - shall we get Rita over too? I hear she's stuck on her lonesome tonight and I've got a box of Godiva chocolate (dark naturally) stashed in the pantry and some vegan haggis which I think you'd both enjoy.
How often do you get totally random injuries that have absolutely no explanation for being where they are or appearing? |

oh this is taking such a shameful shameful turn - yet I'm still here
yes *hangs head in shame* quite honestly it's worse when you do go in. Trying to explain why you wince out loud with tears rolling rolling down your cheeks every time you cross your legs is something no one should ever have to do.

(First, this question reminds me of an alleged Newlyweds episode, where the husband answered "That'd be in the butt, Bob" to the show's host. But I digress.)
A tie: either a church lawn with hundreds of people nearby or the passenger seat of a moving NYC cab (the latter more than once).
Ever moved a piano?
