the longest one i've been on was a ship to the island of Crete, from the mainland of Greece. that was about 12 hours, at nighttime. my friend and i opted not to get a private cabin. lucky there was beer..

what is the furthest you've been to the north, in terms of equatorial longitude?

I think we recently had that question (not complaining, merely
pointing out): Amman, Jordan to JFK. Lots of water, music,
naps.

How often do you shave?

So that's where you were.

Mint choc chip. Or maybe pistachio.

How old is Mark E Smith? He looks really old right now.

I don't know how old he is because I don't know who he
is. (Mint choc chip is my all-time fave, even more so than
peppermint!)

How much older than you was the oldest person you've
dated?

Heard of The Fall. Like The Fall. Love The Fall.
Spaced his name. Image-Googled him. Lordy,
he looks old.

When I was 17 I "dated" someone who was 30,
we were together for a long time. I've never dated anybody
younger than me.

Have you dated anybody younger?

hmmmmm. that's tough. i've been around the US quite a bit. i have this fantasy of going to New Zealand, renting motorcycle with a sidecar, and driving around and camping.. or a regular car might be safer. late summer.. i don't know the geography of New Zealand but let's just say i'll drive around the whole thing..

Good answer.

Yes I would have sex with Paris Hilton.

Do you ever find yourself reading interviews with bands or musicians where you have no interest whatsoever in their music but will always read what they have to say regardless?

if they're interesting.. i find so many musicians boring as people and, really don't care what they have to say but just like their music. but some people seem interesting.. i read this article a while back written by the guy from Polyphonic Spree, about their experiences on the road, touring with Bowie etc.. that was a good read

If we stopped by some of the small Maori islands - I'd love it.

You have access to a time machine but you can only use it for one round trip - what would you do?

Probably by a mountain lion - I'd imagine it would be the quicker way to go.

What animal would you most like to see out in it's natural habitat or at the very least not in a zoo?

come to think of it, i'd like to see a mountain lion.. but from very far away. i've never seen one and i'm becoming fascinated with them. did you know they can jump up to 45 feet? and jump 15 feet high.. they quietly hang out in trees and high places waiting for something to attack. seeing wild African animals would be cool too though (from a distance)..

what's your drink?
