a bit, but I don't expect much from what is programmed this year except the Cronenberg and the Egoyan (but the Cronenberg looks as bad as Spider)

Uh, when I was young I remember being scared to hell by Friday 13th part II. Now I'd say The Others was pretty scary, or The Exorcist.
Your most hated movie? The one you wouldn't watch again even under torture?

A most timely question: my town's new reappraisal list (a list of every single piece of real estate in my town, along with the name of each owner and the long-awaited new assessment for tax purposes...my property went up by more than 100k...christ almighty we are fucked).
How do you suggest I come up with 8 thousand American dollars fast?

They're one of those I don't want to like at all, but actually find the songs pretty decent. Same as Razorlight, which is even less cool.
Do you find a cooler-than-thou attitude to music annoying (e.g standing at the back being cynical about a band, rather than actually having fun).

yeah, i hate that. seriously. i feel sorry for (opening) bands when they're first going on stage and people in the crowd are just like, "whatever".. but then slooooly, finally warm up to them. LA crowds are tough

people throwing cups and different things on stage at the band -but they deserved it: It was a kind of bad-electro band opening for Sonic Youth during the Thousand Leaves tour
Run DMC or GrandMaster Flash?

Probabaly overrated, because words are just words. Then again, if you really mean it when you forgive somebody, that stands for something.
What's worse:a comfortable, boring life or a rough, exciting life?! |

I've had both and I think, sequentially speaking, safe/boring should follow exciting/rough.

it's a compelling film. the guy in it drinks like 25 cups of coffee a day. and he thinks the holocaust was a myth.. that's why there can be too much coffee
