Pixies 05/06/2004 Brixton Academy, Pixies 14/06/2004 Le Zenith Paris.
Any ideas on how to make the 10 hour plane trip to London bearable?

(Here in France we have 5 weeks of vacation by law. And then there's this wonderful thing called "35 heures", which means we have to work 35 hours a week; then what everyone does, is working 39 hours a week and getting days off in compensation. And the company where I work (it's a bank) gives us 19 days off this year. You can hate me now.)

I believe this may be the first duplicated question.

(Very interesting, but I don't know an algorithm tree from a Bursty connection. I have always wished that I had paid more attention to my math courses. I'm reading Godel, Escher, Bach right now, and I'd like to learn more...Sounds like an interesting and rewarding job you have there.)

We Americans know nothing about soccer.
I will be in Denmark around the time of Roskilde. Should I go? Is it really crowded? Will it be worth it to see the Pixies and Iggy? Note I will see the Pixies several times when they get back to the States. |

(what's gross about a paper towel? personally, i think that paper towels are more hygenic. when you grab a paper towel, it's sticking out in mid-air, and the part you touch has never been touched by human hands [just a paper manufacturing machine], whereas the knob on the air dryer has been touched a zillion times, with flu/herpes/syphilis/HIV -infested fingers. think about that next time you're using the air dryer). |

(I'm pretty sure you can't catch HIV from a hand dryer. I was referring to the automatic ones, anyway).
It depends on the ages I suppose, sometimes its a little wierd. I know someone (a guy of 20) who is engaged to a girl of 27. That was kind of wierd for me, I don't know why.
What do the words, 'vortex cannon' mean to you?

OK, I can combine the last two questions. I think the vortex cannon was the best part of my day. Maybe 'Into The White' closing the set at Brixton. I don't want to rub it in...

Mmmm, new weapons! or fun with Pixies drummer and electrified pickles.
Speaking of, have you seen the neat fog "gun" from thinkgeek.com? (those are fun) What new toy/gadget have you gotten or recently seen?
(edit: well, that sucks -my cable modem keeps going down, so please excuse the delay, and carry on)
