i posted this on pixiesmusic.com, but i know not everyone here goes there so i thought id put it up here too.
okay so its about 2:08 at night, and im watching this show called rage tv, its a local (i think) music show on what usually is the wb network i think. so im reading a something on this board, and then i hear david lovering click his sticks and hear him start of bone machine and i imediatly turn to the tv and see the town and country performance. this is so weird. i dont know what to think. this is like this shitty local music thing thats on at 2 in the morning. thy play some good music sometimes, but never something like the pixies. man this reunion is causing a lot of weird shit.
oh and they listed the record copany at "matador". are the pixies affiliated with them at all? doesnt 4ad own the right to the town and counrty + brixton performance?

yo i heard some track off Trompe Le Monde, comming out of an "American Eagle" in the local mall by my school........bleh

Matador is part of the Beggars group, which also includes 4ad..thats the only connection.
and no, 4ad do not own the rights to the Brixton show.
i think they're held by the japanese tv station who recorded the shows. but i dare say the pixies themselves also have some ownership of them as well.

that'll be cause although both labels come under the Beggars Group umbrella, Matador are bloody massive in the US, so people get confused over there sometimes... ah well!
4AD has the rights to both performances though (sorry Isaac I'm more or less saying what you said there!!) - I'll find out how that happened - it may be like Benji said :) |

I was flicking around on sky a while back and heard Gigantic - so obviously I checked out the show - a documentary on genital warts.... no really.
My head was feeling scared, but my heart was feeling free |

jeez, thats pretty messed up. i guess they have to use some sort of music, but who would think to use the pixies? did it go well though?
