If you're asking what they'd go for on eBay, I've seen CD-R copies going for 」10 and originals for 」60+ on www.ebay.co.uk
Sickening really. |

I think ebay is the best measure of what something is really worth. For instance, I was lucky enough to pay $30 each for Fine Line tickets. However, ebay told me they were really worth about $275-325 each. I do not condone scalping, but it is a good street price estimator.
The only flaw in ebay as a guide to street prices is if what you have is so rare nobody is looking for it. A friend of mine has a comic book he could probably sell at a convention for over $10,000. However he would have a harder time selling it on ebay unless those few people willing to pay that much happened to be looking for it at that time...

Have u bought the CD to make money out of it? Don't we have to deal with enough scalpers? Come on... You were lucky to get yours, make good use of it. |

I might be alone in this, but I tend to think there is a huge difference between selling a collectors item cd on ebay and scalping tickets. I got a low number too (41) but I plan on keeping my cd. I think the main difference is that scalping keeps people, that would otherwise be able to, from going to a show. Anyone can download this stuff off of soulseek or something like that. |

I, too, got a low number (56). I don't think I'm going to sell it, though. If I do it will be 30 bucks including shipping (which is what it cost me.). |

Its kind of nice knowing you have something thats worth a bit though - isn't it??
I wouldn't trade my Fine Line disc live for for anything but still, knowing it would probably go for $100 on ebay does give you a very warm - self satisfied glow
Saw some guy on ebay selling his Brixton Tickets using a "buy it now" button at face + shipping because he couldn't make the date - needless to say the tickets weren't up for long!

The question was legit and the CD is not leaving my possession... I got it shipped to Australia where I live and believe me, there aren't many of them around these parts.
Was just curious as to what they are going for in the states. Mine is already packed away with the remainder of my CD and vinyl collectibles...

Careful guys... these CDs are way overrated. What is valuable is the experience of going to the concerts. Now getting a CD from the concert... well I also downloaded the live in excellent quality MP3 and would not spend more than $10 for the CD itself. There is no need for it! To collect it? What for?!? It is just a damn CD sold by a company! |

It's worth alot to people who want to pay alot for it. It's worth 30 dollars to me. If I sold it for 200 it would still be worth 30 dollars because I'd never pay 200 dollars for it.
It's kind of like baseball cards. I used to collect them and I got excited when I got a piece of cardboard with an athletes picture on it that was worth "20 bucks." I plan to sell them in the future because I don't care about baseball cards anymore and to me they are worth pennies. Other people will spend a crap load of money for them because they value them. I'd rather get money and spend it on something I can use. What are baseball cards good for? Except putting them in the spokes of your bike wheels to make it sound cool.

Some people love collecting and collectables. I value my baseball and Star Wars cards, rare music memorabilia (like the Mpls. disc), old coins, and old action figures. They are fun, and although not materially worth much, neither is super compressed coal. It's a thing for me to pass my time doing and get excited about.
Other people like dogs. Not me. They smell.
