First off, the picture has to be online somewhere. If you have a website or know someone with one, upload it to the server. Then copy the exact URL or the picture and then hit paste in this here message.
After that surround the URL with brackets like so:
[ image ] www.yourpicturesURL.com [ / image ]

We brew beer, but it's been a while since the last batch. Got a packet of yeast waiting in the fridge for the next open weekend. What type do you make, betty?
We also tried to make wine a couple times. First was with canned, second with hand-pressed barbaresco (I think) grapes (that was laborious, lemmee tell ya), both turned out nasty and skunky as hell. Beer is so much easier, and if you scew it up, it doesn't take 6 months to find out!!
If the only tool you have is an elbow macaroni, all your problems look like Schroedinger's cat. |

During my days in Sweden, I used to live in a psychiatrical hospital rebuilt into a student residence. There were still some creepy hospital rooms in the basement, and some guys were making their alcohol there. Alcohol is very expensive in Sweden and some of the guys were studying chemistry...
They made something that looked like a high-tech lab, with lamps and thermometers etc - they were producing their vodka very quickly, in less than a week, and selling it to other foreign students.
After a couple of weeks, a Swedish Rick Hunter came to visit one of the guys and told him that it was not very smart to forget one of his receipts in the "lab". He didn't get much problems with the police, but he was kicked out of the university.
I tried their "vodka" only once. It was disgusting.
I keep feeling like people are just looking at screens and web sites all the time, but do they ever do anything? Or go out and say anything to anyone? I'm not so sure anymore. |

So we bottled a batch of Tupelo Honey Wheat brewed with Trappist high-gravity yeast. Specific gravity readings show this should come out to about 9.5% alcohol by volume. In the process I uncovered 2 year old bottles of homebrew cider in the basement, still packed from the move. It was still potable, and quite potent. In the elapsed time, all sweetness had left the brew, leaving it somewhat like a watery ale with the consistency of champagne.

My Godfather used to make his own wine with grapes grown in his own backgarden, he used to crush the grapes underfoot himself too
Which is unfortunate because he had horrible athletes foot

ew! that would be a definite buzzkill if your Godfather brought up his athletes foot issue during a brew drinking party. and then pulled out his foot to show everyone.
these guys i used to know in college used to brew their own beer, and have a party every time they finished a batch. they are probably the only people i've ever known to make their own beer that actually tastes good. i mean, theirs was really good. they were experts.
someone gave me one of those just-add-water things to me once, and you let it sit for like a month or so. it was undrinkable. |
