I doing the Tampa show. Last time The Catholics came down here I did the Orlando, St Pete, Jacksonville and Gainesville shows. One Pixies show is enough.

DAAAMMMNNN... I'm in Miami and am skipping the Mizner Park/Boca Raton concert because THEIR sound is crappy. It's an open amphitheatre, so the sound just... goes away. I'm definitely going to Orlando, but now I'm not sure about going to the Tampa one now that you say that.
Anyway, I'm in the Kendall area and it took me about 3 hours to get to Boca Raton. Depending on whether you mean N Miami Beach or S Beach it could take you from an hour to about two. It's damn far; it's not such a big deal to just go to Orlando, instead, I've even gotten there faster. |

I'll be at the Boca show providing it doesn't sell out in 2 minutes and I get screwed. It's only about 5k seats from what I hear and I've been screwed plenty of times while trying to buy tickets online for other venues. The good thing about outdoor venues is that you can hear the show from the outside if the cops don't chase you away. Down the road in Pompano(another outdoor venue) the sound is pretty good just hanging out in the park behind it. |

I'll be going to all the Florida shows. Currently, I live in Tampa, and Sundome is literally within walking distance of my place. The crazy part is, I'm moving to North Florida this weekend! Still, I'm not complaining; I was suprised and thankful to see the Pixies add these destinations to their itinerary.
I too have heard from many, many sources that the sound at the Dome is unparalleled in its crappiness. Oh well, this won't deter me! |

Oh, yes, I'll be at Orlando and I think it's the only show I'm going to. Oh, well, I hope it's really the best choice (and I have confidence it will be). |

Bought a couple of tickets tonight when the Boca Raton show went on sale. Did anyone get reserved seats or are all the seats general admission? A few weeks ago I looked at the presale tickets and all those were also listed as general admission. |
