There is still a big mystery for me and I know it's time to think about Pixies but anyway why Frank almost NEVER played live End Of Miles during his last tour??? (and I could ask the same for San Antonio, Tx, Out of State or Valentine & Garuda but this one first)?? It's still a big mystery for me? How can we ignore one of our best song like that? |

He probably can't remember the lyrics or something. He says it's his favorite song off of BLD so it's definitely not because he doesn't like it. I got to hear him play it solo acoustic in 2002 but your right, I don't think he's played very many full-band versions live.

He played it last time I saw him in Chicago, full-band version w/Rich on steel. I think there were some recordings of that show available from those hearitagain folks...
The Cult of Frank: Enough of that pixie stuff already, we're just ordinary worker elves... |

Right, they played End of Miles at that March 29, 2003, show and then again 2 days later during the encore for the Milwaukee (Shank Hall) show. I had lots of fun on that trip... |

The lyrics of that song are very easy, unlike St Francis!
It's our tradition to control, Like Erich Honecker and Helmut Kohl, From the Ukraine to the Rhône. Sweet home über alles, Lord, I'm coming home. So come on, Sugar Daddy, bring me home. |

End of Miles is one of Frank's greatest songs.
