I just have to express my appreciation for this forum. It's always informative, always amusing and sometimes ... if your lucky... perverted. There are so many witty, intelligent people to admire and enjoy. I usually just sit and laugh. You people should be out in the world using your intellect to change this god-forsaken excuse for a human race...but since your on...I'll always wait to see your great responses. Love ya.
I think I smell a rat. |

I'm not sure, but is this a topic specifically about me? Judging from the title, it sure sounds like it.
THANKS! Coldheartofstone. You should change your name to wonderfulwarmheart of...uh?...warm...stuff, Yeah.

This is probably the best, if not only, opportunity I'll have to ask the question that burns in my mind:
What does a rat smell like, anyway?

Actually it depends. Wet rat is kind of sweet, but in an icky theater-floor kind of way. Normal everyday run of the mill dry rat smells like muffins made with motor oil. Roast rat smells like burned hair for a while, then more like smoked ribs once the hair is burned off and the meat starts to cook (note - gut the rat first or prepare to pay a hefty cleaning bill when the intestinal liquids evaporate at flashpoint).

So here's Coldheartofstone expressing thanks for the amusement we can bring her on this forum, and we've already digressed to the smell of rats. Now THAT'S entertainment.

They smell of fish.
And I think it would be a bit presumptuous of any of us to thank Alicia for her kind words, since we don't actually know who she refering to exactly.

Homers Pet Monkey, she seems to be referring to the entire forum as one entity which entertains her, and each and every one of us are components of that single entity, so it's praise for the whole team, not just an employee of the month type of deal. Those who are of few words and little wit, such as me,) can enjoy the praise from the pretty girl just as much as those full of insight, irreverence, and insults, like you, Homer.

Sure it's pretty hard. Someone else would give up, and practice a frontal lobotomy on himself (which would make me slightly above the average in terms of intelligence). But it's OK, I'm a hero.

I am so quick I screw up every attempt at a self-inflicted frontal lobotomy, and end up with a bottle in front of me.
Mmmmm...beer.

I love this forum; I have come to know these users as people. I can detect some sense of personality and character in these people: I almost feel as though I personally know them. Is this abnormal? |

It wouldn't be, but we genuinely aren't people with personality or characters.
I used to be slightly worried that I was in a Truman Show esque situation, where everyone else was acting round me and I was the only one who wasn't in on it. I say i used to be worried, it still haunts me occasionally.
