First of all, YAY!!!!!!!!!!!
(Now that THAT'S out of the way...) I've heard (from a not necessarily reliable source) that Urge Overkill will be opening for the Pixies at the Plaza of Nations show in the 'Couv... can anybody confirm this?
I saw UO's show at Richards Monday night, and my only complaint was that they could've been louder. And even though I've heard bad things about the sound at Plaza of Nations (I've never actually been to a show there), I think that could be a really great show.
(Sorry to circulate rumours if it ends up that that's what I'm really doing.)
Just saw UO here in Saskatoon last night and was disappointed. I hope they're not opening for the Pixies, though I could think of far worse to be fair, I could think of far better as well...

yeah, UR isn't that great of a band.I saw the White Stripes at the Plaza of Nations last summer and the show was alright.The sound wasn't that bad, but the Plaza of Nations sucks.It is to bad that they're not playing at a club.The Commodore was a great show.
Pixies (with UO?) in Vancouver in the Fall...
