Shit. And anyone who's read the LA Times Coachella review will agree. I already knew he was a senile goat desperate to stay relevant by endlessly trumpeting the virtues of Eminem & the White Stripes, but, christ, the man is just a total moron to boot. |

I just tried the la times site but you need to be member of some calender club to read the review.

He's the LA Times music guy, and he's a complete twat (hey, are there any legal issues with calling someone a twat in a forum like this? btw, no offense intended to any actual twats or bearers thereof). There was about a paragraph dedicated to the Pixies within the whole Coachella review, in which he stated they were notable only for influencing "more memorable bands" such as Nirvana and Smashing Pumpkins. It didn't even sound like he was there, and he came across as completely clueless and out-of-touch.
