just had a quick look on the members page to see how i was doing on the leaderboard, and spotted some guy called bazza, who i've just overtaken. didn't recognise his name so took a look at his profile and there are no recent posts? he obviously posted a heck of a lot at one point. anyone know who he was? where he is and why he doesn't post no more? (i know he's barry from ireland from his profile, before any of you smart-arses reply with that, yeah, i'm looking at you andanana)

Is it like today? Oh, oh, oh-oh. Then there followed days with kings, empires and revolutions. blood just looks the same when you open the veins. sometimes it was faith, power or reason as the cornerstone. but the furrowed brow has never left his face. he said, how did it come to this?

Yeah, I remember seeing a thread about bazza receiving his PhD or something.
Haven't seen much of him for a few months?

Didn't he have something to do with the Big Galoof once? I seem to recall. This was way back when, when I had about 20 posts under my belt! Look at me now

I remember him. Must be nice to be remembered. When I leave the only thing missing will be a few thousand less hits to the main page.

Bazza/Barry's good friends (I gather) with Ten Percenter/Andy and was indeed a forum regular (and the inventor/propogator of the euphemism 'sneaky butcher') before he got too busy with his PhD thesis, etc. He popped up a couple months ago when someone asked a similar question... maybe he'll come by again and say hi?

Barry got his PhD and is not in a locale where he can regularly get to a computer. He'll be at a Pixies show this summer though. I'll tell him y'all said HI and asked after him.

I keep meeting Bazza in town(Dublin) on his bike, he's a busy man these days. Really looking forward to meeting up with him for the Pixies gig, the Frank gig in Vicar Street was alot of fun. And if you read this Bazza I was really rude and never introduced my friend who's name is Catriona last time I saw you(I aint got no manners!)

Heh, no identity crisis for you! I was wondering if there'd just been a mass power cut across Ireland, cos Carl hasn't been posting so much either, given his blanket-posting history.
