damn you lucky bastards. this would be the concert of a lifetime for me. my 2nd fav band opening for my fav ever band. gaztastic.
now, lets hope they begin their support slot 5 days before on the 2nd, and then the 3rd.

Goddammit! I've sold my June 7th tickets. I want them back please. I'll have to make do with Ash on the 14th now. I'll be holding thumbs for Brixton then.

I've only heard 2 or 3 songs by Mogwai, but I didn't really like them. Anyway, I'll make sure to wear earplugs, cause it's gonna be a LOUD night.

denis, it will definitely be a loud night - however mogwai have quietened down from several years ago where 130dB was not rare.
they are very different to Pixies, so seems a little weird combo, but someone has very good taste.
although, on the cover of their debut album from 1997 - 'young team' there was a sticker with a quote from a NME review which said (paraphrased) "you can feel the Pixies weeping into their shreeded careers"
