i ordered two cds on 4-15-04, and its been giving me this message for over a week "SmartMail Shipping Soon."
anyone else getting this? |

Indeed, we shipped a TON of SmartMail (which is a service which is making it easier for us to ship our CD's out fast) last week, so even if it says SHIPPING SOON, it's likely alerady shipped and may be on its way to you...

Just back from the tour; what a great time... it was really awesome to meet everyone who introduced themselves; I hope you are all enjoying your discs.
I've got a bit of an update on shipping today. We've got everyone who ordered individual discs shipped out through Eugene last week. The Davis & Coachella individual orders, along with all the multiple orders, are now being packaged and will be shipped out ASAP ... we're still kind of swimming in it, but we have hired tons of extra help to get it done as quickly as possible.
Thank you all very much for your paitence. You also know there are only a few discs remaining on the site (www.disclive.com). If you haven't bought anything yet, I think Eugene 4/28, of which there are only 169 remaining, is probably the best sounding recording of the tour, but that's just one guys opinion.
Thanks again for all the kind words... here's to hoping we meet again real soon!

| I'm not having any luck with Disclive at all....I've e-mailed the company 3 times in the last 3 weeks and I get the same response every time....You will receive your cd's in about a week....very upsetting. |

Ha ha! I knew that was a good show but since it was the only one I went to I kind of wondered how it stacked up against the rest. Glad to hear it was as good to those who've followed the whole tour as it was for my ears. |

nothing yet AGAIN (5-5-04)! i called disclive today and was told their person who takes care of these things was out on tour with the doors. they also said they couldnt find my name on their computer! i was told to email a copy of my order confirmation to the "help@disclive.com" email address. from what i am seeing about that i probably wont get a response very soon.
this sucks. |

I received my Winnipeg show over the weekend and it still says that is the status of my order.

| Their "SMART MAIL" is not so smart. Mine has said that same thing for 2 weeks. We paid for priority mail which is 2 to 3 days if they just dropped them at the post office. |

yeah, good point about the 3 day shiping. heck, the guy i caled at disclive couldnt even find my name!? i sent an email to disclive at the "help" email. ii guess we will see what happens.

i ordered two concerts on 4-15-04 and now i am seeing that 'combination orders' are still being shipped (from the disclive pixies shipping information page).

| where was disclive at coachella? i couldn't find them to save my life! i swear to god, i walked around the whole place and didn't see them set up anywhere... i found spin, virgin mega store, sony playstation tent, the beer garden, the food courts, general store, kroq, the restrooms, all the music tents, etc etc etc but no disclive!!! hopefully i'll get my disc in the mail soon. |

well...
i ordered my disks (2 sets) about a month ago (4-15-04) to be exact.
i know it may appear like their are little brats bitching and moaning about not getting their disks, but if you pluck down 50 dollars for cds (with usps priority 3-4 day shipping promised )and have not recieved them, i see no problem in voicing concerns on these bb's (especially when dislive employees seem to be here more often to answer questions then at their "help@disclive.com" email address).
heck, what is the point of their "tracking" page?

I'm in the Netherlands and I received my copy of the Spokane show (which I ordered on 15th of April) yesterday.
The status on the Disclive site is still "SmartMail Shipping Soon."

Disclive SUCKS!
i hate it when a small company provides fans w/ a superior recording of their favorite band at a reasonable price. it also pisses me off when they make half of the lot available for purchase at shows the fans attended and half online for any shows on the tour that you could not get to. how dare they take so long to get us the recordings that otherwise would be shit if they became available at all, while they follow other bands around N. America provided this service for their fans. i just cannot get over how awful these people are. ;)
just be cool everybody. you will get your disc. you will love them.
p.s. everyone from disclive was great and i hope them the best, such an awesome oppertunity for the fans, the bands, and the disclive folks.

I live in Edmonton AB Canada. I ordered the show in Edmonton online
the night before the show (April 17). I have not received anything as of yet. Why are people over seas receiving discs before Canada? Did anybody in Canada receive discs they ordered online? This is beginning to worry me. Disclive could have at least provided a tracking number.
....frustration is running high. |
