I have a buddy lee bobble-head on my dresser that they gave me once for buying a pair a jeans. Staring at it now, I do see a slight resemblence to charles. Its wearing a flannel shirt, something that FB might wear. Plus the thing is very heavy and dense... another similarity.
I LOVE Buddy Lee! I think that series of commercials should have lasted much longer - they were awesome. My friends baby looked just like Buddy Lee when he was tiny (right when the ads were out) and that is what we used to call him.
