I phoned See (aka Wayahead) last week and was told they hadn't received the tickets yet, and they would be sent out no later than 10 days before the gigs. I was getting a bit worried that my order had been lost.

I've been getting worried too, but this always seems to happen with concert tickets. I have just used the WayAhead order tracker, though, and it's showing: "Tickets are in stock and will be despatched shortly [...]", so hopefully we'll be OK...

just an update... been reading about how crap royal mail is, and saw the dispatches programme last week, so thought i best make sure wayahead hadn't sent my tickets already and royal mail lost them... anyway my tickets have been sent today! so should arrive tomorrow!

I ordered some tickets to see Mclusky from wayahead about a month ago for a gig on May 6. They only turned up last Saturday so I wasn't holding my breath about seeing my Pixies tickets for a couple of weeks yet. |

Ordered tickets for june 2nd from ticketweb , and was told that the tckets would be posted to my address 2 weeks before the gig. Just as well as i'd probably have them worn out fidgeting with them. |

have a gander at this... http://tinyurl.com/2qfq8
No idea why they are waiting until two weeks before the gig to send the tickets when loads of others already have them. As long as you have your confirmation code you are okay. |

Good! Thanks for the info Benji. I was kicking myself for not choosing that option from the start. Do you know if there will be seperate queues for the box office and the doors? Also, at what time does the box office open?

i wouldn't think so. i'm also picking mine up from the box office - but i wasn't allowed to get the tickets sent out....
usually when you get to the initial people on the door, you say you gotta pick 'em up and they send you towards another line. might be different for the birxton - never picked tickets up from there before.
i'm paranoid about something going wrong with my pickups and me not getting in. irrational, but scary nonetheless.

Went to see JSBX at Brixton a couple of years ago and was picking up tickets (I normally have them delivered), it was a different queue for the box office. The queue that goes down the side of the venue was for existing ticket holders, and the queue that went on down the street was for the box office pick-up. I assume its still the same arrangement. Remember to bring the same credit card that you booked them with!
Cheers. |

And then after I've picked up the tickets, do I have to line up at the back of the queue for the doors? I hope not.

No, once you're in that's okay. The security at Brixton aren't that mean (until someone tries to crowd surf)! |

I got my Wednesday tickets from Ticketweb today. I am still waiting for my Saturday Ticketweb tickets.
I thought the tickets were going to be special printed ones, mine are just standard Ticketweb tickets. |

The Saturday ones I've got from Wayahead are proper printed ones, not the standard ones with a band name inserted in the blank.

I was under the impression that the reason we didnt get our tickets months ago was because they were going to be souvenir tickets, turns out they are just poopy normal ticketweb ones, cest la vie, I GOT PIXIES TICKETS!!!!!!!

Have you guys received your Saturday tickets yet? Does Ticketweb change anything on the orer status page once they've posted the tickets?
