I spent christmas alone this year, well alone with donnie darko and a couple of bottles of red wine. What a cheerfull flat it was.
But this movie is great, it's already a classic somehow, just gorgeous

I just watched Donnie Darko. Amazing. The hype didn't ruin it for me at all. I loved it...I think I understand what happened, but I'm still not 100% sure. Fucking great movie, though.
I guess I just wasn't made for these times. |

i didn't think this movie was that great... but considering that the director is only 25yrs. that is quite the accomplishment. but still the movie ain't that great. seems the young and moody like this picture, no? |

I was just about to come and find this thread. I haven't watched the movie since I rented it a year or two ago, but I got the DVD for £4.97 today, bargain city.
Anyway, I watched it again and its blatantly amazing. I'd forgotten how good it was. It reminded me of a more accessible Lost HIghway or something, and I love the way its filmed and the settings and contexts. Also, some ace 80's tunes.
Kind regards, Dr. Simon Specialist In Broken Hearts |
