I had a dream the other night I was brushing my teeth and woke up just as I was spitting on my pillow. Has this or something similar happened to anyone else?

I've done this before. I don't remember if I was brushing my teeth but I remember spitting on my pillow in a half sleep half awake state. Really weird...
I also often have dreams where I REALLY have to piss...the focus of the dream is to find a bathroom and I can never find one. Then when I do I just keep pissing and I still have to piss. Luckily, this never caused me to piss the bed.

I usually have dreams (or should I say nightmares) where I am going to get killed or I am falling. I always wake up and nearly fall off the bed just before I'm about to meet my end. What usually happens to me though, is I wake up, my mouth slightly open, and my pillow is soaked with drool! Disgusting, I know. Does this happen to anyone else?

I've never had reoccurring dreams like those, but I did have a really weird one once. In my dream, I was jumping for something, I can't really remember what. All of a sudden I awoke and sort of 'jumped' off of my bed by pushing my feet into the mattress. I banged my head against a wall and fell on the ground. I got this big bruise on my forehead. Pretty embarrassing to explain how I got it the next morning.

That's exactly what happens after I have one of my nightmares! My feet kick into the mattress and I nearly fall on the floor. Weird stuff.

Usually I find with recurring dreams as soon as I figure out what my brain is trying to tell me I stop having the dream. And yes I've done the pillow drool thing, but only when I have my head on one where my neck is at too steep an angle.

I had a dream where I was getting ready to be attacked by a robber on a dark street and I woke up punching the wall by my bed really hard. I don't think I hurt my hand but that wall had good no defense but offense. I'm glad no one else was in my bed that night, or it wasn't my cats.
I've heard stories about people kill0ng somene in their sleep?

I had a dream the other night that I was watching the Pixies (topical, innit?!), except that they were playing in this kind of big, old-fashioned lighthouse. There were only a handful of people there, and halfway through, most of them got up and went over to the window, cos they could see whales jumping in the see below.
I just woke up confused.

As amazing as the Pixies are, I would have gone to the window too. You could still hear their music and that is the most important thing. In fact watching whales jump out of the sea, whilst listening to the Pixies live would be one hell of an experience.

I had a dream I was punching someone, and I punched my wall and woke up with my arm asleep, and when it came to, it hurt.
I've also had those dreams where you have to pee, and you find a bathroom and pee and pee and pee, and when you wake up you have to go pee, but you haven't peed the bed. That's kind of scary.
I am a man with 3 fingers...but that doesn't count my index finger nor my thumb. |

haha! you fucker! i was just about to reply and said, i haven't either... then i read the last line, and i was like, erm, might as well post anyway... i always thought wet-dreams were for kids, when they hit puberty and they haven't realised yet? i knew as soon as i hit it, and when i could, erm, i did... so never had an excess and my dreams were never *that* hot...
anyway jim, me and homer have our secret weapon, the lager... as long as you don't drink too much, does wonders...

Well there is a very simple physiological reason for a wet dream: it is a natural way of releasing pressure built up in the seminal vesicles. So if you wank a lot or have lots of sex you won't have a wet dream.

Increased pressure causes decreased production. Another physiological mechanism. It all depends on how the body sorts itelf out. Also I was jokingly trying to tell someone he is having way too much of the five knuckle shuffle.

I've woken myself up by laughing at a joke or something funny in my dream and the noise I make laughing wakes me up? Whatever it was that I'm laughing at always seems incredibly funny when I wake up, but then I can't remember it in the morning?
