Hey guys, last night's show in Vancouver was soooo good .I am still in shock that I've just seen the pixies.That was the best show I've ever seen.I met lots of cool people from all over the world.Lots people were lined up at noon to get tickets form the box office.They will be releasing about 85 tickets at the door,for thoes lucky enough to get them.I almost didn't get in though!!!!!I bought my tickets on ebay and when I showed them to the doorman, he said that my tickets had been cancelled!!!I almost passed out.Especially after I spent $450.00 for tickets that were cancelled!Anyway, I lucked out and they let me buy tickets at the box office before they started selling them to everyone else.My word of advice to anyone who bought tickets from someone is to have them checked out before you get there.If they aren't real, they will confenscate them.Other than that everything was all good.Once I got inside,I b-lined it for the shirt booth.I bought two shirts,a hat and a cd.The shirts are $25 hats were $25 and the disclive cd was $30.Shirts were going fast,so go early and get in that line!After I bought my stuff I bopught my beers and found a spot right by she stage.I can't remember the opening bands name, but they ok.I was just waiting for the pixies.After what seemed like eternity, the pixies took the stage and started to play "la la love you".I guess Frank wasn't happy with the way the song was going so they left the stage,and started over.That just hyped up the crowd some more.They came back and finished la la love you.Here is the setlist:

I think they played two encore's but I'm not sure.I also can't rememmber what songs they played for their encore.Sorry.When I remmember I will let ya' know.When they left the stage the first time,( before their first encore) Joey walked up to me and shook my hand !!! Yeah! That was cool.They were DEFINATLY having a good time.Kim couldn't stop smiling,Frank seemed to be having a good time too.( usually he sings with his eyes closed) Joey was also smiling alot.Kim and Frank were drinking beers on stage.They all started laughing when they played gigantic because David wouldn't end the song and Kim and Joey looked like they were getting tired. Kim looked at Frank and gave him a look like, when can I stop playing this damn bass line.It was funny.Anyway that's all I can remmember right now.I am envious of anyone who will be seing them again.I can't wait untill Bummershoot.Have fun,and don't forget to get in line early.C'ya later |
