Still thinking...
but I am not too sure about no. 14 and the row of cats. The t shirt I picked up at the FB&C gig last December also has a row of cats. Therefore we are not exactly creating something new with this design. I thought the idea was to create a t shirt that was personal to this site.

Ok I dig the dancing bear. It's no. 6 for me (possibly the graphic needs to be a bit smaller).
If we could get 'serving fans since 1826' across the back then that would be great.
Both statements are 'in' jokes which adds to the amusement factor.

Where's everybody else on this? I think it might be safe to eliminate every design except for 6 and 14 and work out the ultimate design between the two.

Man, I really don't want a bear on my t-shirt.
I'd rather have a floating head or some cats.
Come to think of it... a bear shirt might be funny since there are bears around where I live.

Right, soits looking like #6 and #14. same as the badges -leave it for one more day then move forward?
Maybe lock these ones up after we move on to a new thread?

So I guess 13 is not in the running? That stinks.
I vote for #14, but I want it to say:
"SINCE 1826."
That way it sounds like the website has been around since 1826. I guess would work the other way too though

hmm..okay, looks like there were 39 votes...but i'm guessing that includes several people who had multiple votes..?
I'm happy with moving ahead with #14.
A rather sad turn-out if you ask me! Does that mean we should go for a run of 50 shirts?
What color? White?
What sizes? say 12x S, 18x M, 13x L, 7x XL
If it's white, shall we stick with the organic cotton co? Mel - you wanna contact them and find out what they need, and coordinate it with Damien?
CC or BCC me on all emails please.

I really wish we could go for *a* color instead of just plain white, but it seems like this might be the best color for such a shirt. Can we get ringers instead of just plain white? Ringers kick ass...ringers, anyone? White with blue ringers. I think that would like great. I think you may have overestimated the sizes. I would think we'd need more large than small...I would only think we'd need a couple small, more large. Medium seems fine. XL seems fine.

Maybe if you put this on the main page or something, like a news anouncement with a link to this thread, we'd get more responses and votes. I don't think a lot of people read this section of the forum. Anyways, yeah, there probably won't be a whole lot of smalls--medium for me.

I think BLACK would look really good with the 4-kitty design.
I mean, c'mon, it's not FrankWhite.net.

We can do ringers if you can find an organic ringer maker...? Check out Pangea.
I chose more smalls because that's the size many women would want..not that there are many women. This is totally negotiable, just keep this in mind.
We can always take orders before we actually make orders, and that way we'll get a better idea of what we'll end up with.
I think i agree with Jim, this design would look best on white..or a lighter color..eh?

It's a t-shirt.. and the sleeves have about an inch of color (different from the base color) on the edge of both sleeves, and usually one around the neck too.
Here, this is easier...

ahhh! right, yeah, ringers is cool!
Is it like today? Oh, oh, oh-oh. Then there followed days with kings, empires and revolutions. blood just looks the same when you open the veins. sometimes it was faith, power or reason as the cornerstone. but the furrowed brow has never left his face. he said, how did it come to this?

I too think ringers is the best way to go...And I agree, making this an announcement on the front page, with a link or whatever would be easier, but keep the already decided designs..
Also Dave - you said something about small for the girls.. I thought we were getting actual girl t.shirts? Do you know how bad guy t shirts look on girls? haha. But i guess its a supply to demand case really.
I think if we had two different colours for the rings on the shirts, for each design? so thats four different designs - like the badges? and yeah. Ill buy all four, so the girls tees dont go to waste!!!
"We can always take orders before we actually make orders, and that way we'll get a better idea of what we'll end up with."
I think that would be the best plan - but could make stating prices difficult? I mean, are we going to sell these for rpofit for the site, or sell them just to cover the cost? I guess we'd have to mark it up a little to cover P+P.
I love you for what I am not, I did not ask for what I have got.

It looks like pyjamas to me. Not that I care anyway, I like the idea of sleeping with a FB.net t-shirt, but then we should perhaps make those shorts too...

Like i said - find me organic ringers, and we're good to go.
I think 'regular' t's look fine, but i'm no fashion consultant. If we can work them in and it's reasonable, i'm game.
Profit - not sure. It wouldn't be much, but it makes sense to make it a bit, most likely to round-up to a dollar value, and tag on an extra buck or two.

ringers are cool just plain with nothing on them, but I don't think one would look very good with a big frankblack.net design on it.

I disagree nimrod!!
My ex had a whole load ofringer tees with designs on the front, I think it will look sooooooo cool!
Totally retro. Ringers rock, everyone seems to like them! I think we should definately get ringers.

Here's another organic company--it doesn't look like they do ringers, but I think their colors might be better: http://www.beneficialts.com/
