It doesn't read as a 'horrible review' to me -- almost the opposite; they seemed to like it a lot. They dissed the 'Gouge' documentary, but it *was* pretty cringe-worthy due to some of the celebrities and most of the journalists involved -- there are some shots and short videos I made just after the original broadcast here:

(I still like the quote from Bono that "this is one of America's greatest *ever* songwriters and one of America's greatest ever bands". Even if you hate U2, it's still coming from the frontman of one of the biggest commercial bands in the world, with a huge audience at his command, and he generally says what he thinks.)
